Our Mission
Hearts 4 Heroes USA is a nonprofit organization founded by first responders for first responders. Our mission is to provide innovative mental health and wellness programs that support the brave men and women who serve our communities every day.
Through the Paw Platoon Placement, we train and place Crisis K9 Therapy and Service Dogs in fire departments, law enforcement agencies, EMS organizations, Crisis intervention calls, debriefings, peer support, hospitals, schools, veterans' organizations, and community programs to provide comfort, emotional support, and resilience during times of crisis.

The Paw Platoon is healing heroes and communities across the USA

Ellie, a highly trained crisis k9 therapy dog with Citrus Heights Police Department, she is also, the first Therapy Dog placed in our Sacramento County region and is fully sponsored by Hearts 4 Heroes USA with donors like you who help hold the line backing the first responders.

THE WHY- we answer the 9-1-1 call for heroes!
Deploy Crisis K9 teams to critical incidents
Support firefighters following traumatic calls
Assist law enforcement during community crises
Respond to schools following traumatic events
Provide emotional support at hospitals and healthcare facilities
Participate in disaster response and community recovery efforts
Transport therapy dogs safely with climate-controlled accommodations
Carry medical, wellness, and outreach equipment
Education and community engagement unit

H4H USA has placed 26 Therapy dogs and across the USA.
